In short: Friendly and very well organised I would definitely consider running it again
In full: Having already run a few marathons I was very impressed with the organisation here. It was easy to park at the start and there were plenty of toilets (and volunteers were on hand to top up the toilet roll). The drinks were handed out in bottles and there were plenty of them - as a slower runner I have got to drinks stations in other marathons only to find out that the drinks have run out. The scenery is beautiful and the support was good given the closed roads and rural location. I was also pleased with the goody bag - so often you end up getting samples of compede blister plasters and weird food supplements which I end up putting in the bin - at least in this one I got food I (or my husband) would actually eat.
It's the little things that make the difference and Andy and Chris and all the marshals got the little things right making it a really enjoyable race. I would definitely consider entering again.

In short: Great race - loved the coaster
In full: There was a cold wind at the start but at least the rain stayed away.
Great atmosphere, very friendly - even some of the fast runners at the head of the field shouted encouragement as they passed us at the back on their second lap.
Loved the coaster as a race memento - have my cup of tea on it already!

In short: The finish in the Millenium Stadium made the race
In full: Info on parking would have been helpful in the pre-race information.
Starting pens could have improved the start as the first few miles were spent weaving past people.
The course certainly was flat and fast but sections were quite narrow and the grasscrete and cobbles were a killer in the last couple of miles. I too missed many of the mile markers.
The spectators and marshalls were great and I really enjoyed the finish in the Millenium Stadium.
Given the volume of people, I managed to get through the finish area reasonably quickly and pick up my medal, T-shirt (although no smalls left) and goody bag. The only thing that wasn't so clear was where to leave the chip - I found it by chance because I was looking for a bin!
