In short: Run to what beat exactly???
In full: Boring excuse of a race. Avoid like the plague. There was more music playing out of people's living room windows than on the course. The delayed start may not have been the organisers fault - but we could have all benefitted from the silver blankets. Please stop running this event - it's just not worth it.

In short: Fab little 10k
In full: Fell upon this race, and I am very pleased I did! Hill at 4k, but generally this race isn't too hard.

In short: If you want scenery - go else where!
In full: This race is about purely belting out the kilometres, not the scenery. I thought it was well organised - but I would question the chip timing. What happened to the chip timing at the start?? That would have made it more accurate. Apart from that the tshirt was a nice touch, the marshalls were friendly and the course is not hilly! It's all downhill from 3 - 8.5k!! Well that's how I saw it! :-)

In short: Hard but also strangely easy!
In full: Definitely doing this again...must do more hill work though! Lots of positives: the marshalls, the crazy hills, the runner friendliness, the feeling you get once you've finished!!
My only negative is that my mate was robbed of his first place finish, due to being sent the wrong way. It can easily happen - but that is my ONLY negative from this race.

See you next year!!

In short: Get the course measurements sorted!!!
In full: Only complaint about this race is that the course was short. If they sort that out, they will have a fantastic 10k race :-) Brilliant for beginners, fab for those of us who want a hard XC run, and cake after! The weather was completely schizo this year, but last year was too hot!! Anyway will definitely do this again.

In short: Great race - what hills?
In full: I thought this was easy!! Lots of downhill that really offset any uphill sections. Fab course - would definitely do this again.Much easy course than the Sevenoaks 10k!!

In short: Great 10 mile race.
In full: If you want scenery - go somewhere else. If you want a fast time and don't mind running round a car park 3 times or so, then this is the one for you. Slight delay at the start, but in the grand scheme of things - it wasn't a massive problem. Thank you to the organisers for giving up their Good Friday to put this on.

In short: Fantastic 'off road' run, long hill start - but lovely downhill bits too!
In full: We were kept waiting for 15mins - with no knowledge of why. I have only just found out that it was due to people parking. Thankfully the weather was amazing! I ran in spikes, as I was told this was an off road race. Well it is away from the main roads - but it is part grass/path and a little trail. Not brilliant for those of us in spikes! So if the weather is good, lightweight racers are suffice. I am writing this because I wish I had had this info before the race - and it might help someone else! Course was good - 2 laps, but not boring. 1k from the start is a slow incline, then a short sharp hill and the rest is pretty much downhill. The prize giving at the end was comical - people getting prizes who didn't even complete the whole 2 laps! And a comment about a lady vet still being on the course was a bit off! Still considering all that I would definitely do it again.
