In short: I ran this race in 2005 but cannot select that year on the ratings form...This race had a number of very negative ratings which have all disappeared. Is it a computer glitch or is there something to hide In full: The marshalls went walkabout and ruined what might have been quite a pleasant race. It's the simple things that make or break a race and when you let the lead runners go for an extra couple of K you do ruin the race. Date of review: July 31, 2005

In short: It's the simple things that make or break an event - you need marshalls In full: There is no excuse for marshalls not being in place, particularly on such a short course. The front runners were sent the wrong way. The organisers did not even seem to realise there was something wrong when no-one had crossed the line after 20 minutes! Possibly that explains why the marshall wasn't in his/her spot when the front runners got to the key crossroads. Never again. If I want an orienteering race, I'll apply for one.
