In short: Well-meaning but shambolic In full: The organisers don't seem to have thought the run aspect of this event through. A map of the park emailed out and/ on the website would have enabled people to a) find the start & b) know vaguely where the course was. I went the wrong way several times, sometimes even in front of the sparse marshalls who didn't correct me. This wouldn't have been quite as bad if we hadn't been assured before, during and after that we "wouldn't get lost". An 11am start and no presentation til everyone had finished led to a rather late finish - personally I would have preferred an earlier start, and the option to receive our bottle and tea and cake (all v nice touches) earlier. In short: Scenic friendly race, course not too slow In full: Good course, well-marked. Good marshalling although needed more people handing out water. Not too undulating to slow too much. Took long time to get to the presentation but tea and cakes during this time were excellent! Date of review: April 10, 2009
