In short: Lovely, friendly and well organised race
In full: A race of 2 halves! Flat and fast for the first half but the the woodland section definitely did for me pb-wise. The support and marshalls and all involved did a wonderful job and the club should be proud of the event.

In short: Somehow, one of my favourite races!
In full: This is my second time at this race and it just leaves you with a warm glowing feeling!

The organisation, facilities and atmosphere are excellent. Whilst the scenery may not be exactly inspiring, nothing can really take away from the over-all event.
I would say the marshalls are the best of any I have encountered, thank you all for being so friendly and encouraging and braving the weather!
7 minutes faster than last year - I'll definitely be back!

In short: I only do this for the speed factor now
In full: I just think that a city centre race cannot cope with this many people, on the narrow streets. I was just wedged in at the start - I had no idea where my pace start area should be and couldn't have got there if I'd wanted to. I heard nothing over the loud speaker. Spent the 1st km desperately trying to pass people. (Idon't blame the runners here, I can't see how they would have known where to start)

I don't usually need a drink on a 10k, but did on this one as was warmer than expected. Took me about another 10 minutes to find any water after the finish.

And people, why oh why can't you listen when you are asked not to all bend over in unison and take your chips off as soon as you cross the line??

I will probably be back as it is a very local, fast race for me. But I think it lacks any other redeeming features really.

In short: Well organised, a great race
In full: Very well organised, lovely atmosphere, excellent eco-friendly goody bag. I always like to finish on a race track, it feel like carpet at the end of a road race!

Plentiful water stations, well manned and organised (removing lids for us!). Yes, the start was a little unclear but this really didn't spoil what was an otherwise excellent event.
