In short: A race that you have to do.
In full: But not for a PB. This is a tough course, but a race that everyone that runs marathons has to do at some point. I am more then happy to say that this is one race that I will be back at again.

In short: Good race
In full: Hot day, and start time didn't help. Course was challening. Water/spronge stations brilliant and often. No problems with the traffice, or the toilets as there were loads at the rec ground and dotted around all over the place.

And I ran a new PB! :o)

In short: Good friendly race
In full: Did find the heat and the hills a bit of a challenge.....But overall a good event, and one I will be back to next year.......

Only one small comment, did get a little confused at the very end, with the guy on the tower thinking that was the finish only to find it was hidden just around the corner!!!!

In short: Good race for PB's, but was was that finish all about?
In full: Overall I would have to say that the race is very good for PB's.

But I do have to agree with some of the other comments already made......

Predicted finishing times at the start would have been good......Also from where I was standing I never heard the gun go off......

A few more loos at the start would have been better......still a massive cue with only 5 minutes left to the start of the race......

And what was that finish all about......please! A race that is sponsored by Nike and no chip timing?

I have to say good race but still needs fine tuning overall.

In short: Ok race, harder then expected.
In full: This was my second half marathon, and found it to be a lot harder than the first one that I ran at Nottingham. I do think that a little more thought should be put into the number of loo's avaiable. Didn't find the walkers to be a real problem as some did. And found the parking to be ok, and close enough to the start of the race. Was a little dissapointed just to get a T-shirt at the end of the run, would have been nice to have been given a goodie bag with a bottle of water and some sort of sugary snack in it. Overall I do have to say I ran it a little faster then my first half run. But not sure I would drive the 3 hours from Cambridge to do it again next year......
