In short: Will be back again next for the 4th year in a row In full: Brilliant race, will be back again next year to do it all over again. Other races could learn a lot from this one. Date of review: November 17, 2008
In short: Brilliant In full: So many other races could learn from this one. Second year of running this race and I will be back again next year to run it again. Please keep doing what you are doing. Date of review: November 18, 2007
In short: A race that you have to do. In full: But not for a PB. This is a tough course, but a race that everyone that runs marathons has to do at some point. I am more then happy to say that this is one race that I will be back at again. Date of review: October 28, 2007
In short: Good race In full: Hot day, and start time didn't help. Course was challening. Water/spronge stations brilliant and often. No problems with the traffice, or the toilets as there were loads at the rec ground and dotted around all over the place.
And I ran a new PB! :o) Date of review: September 18, 2006
In short: Good friendly race In full: Did find the heat and the hills a bit of a challenge.....But overall a good event, and one I will be back to next year.......
Only one small comment, did get a little confused at the very end, with the guy on the tower thinking that was the finish only to find it was hidden just around the corner!!!! Date of review: July 3, 2006
In short: Ok race, harder then expected. In full: This was my second half marathon, and found it to be a lot harder than the first one that I ran at Nottingham. I do think that a little more thought should be put into the number of loo's avaiable. Didn't find the walkers to be a real problem as some did. And found the parking to be ok, and close enough to the start of the race. Was a little dissapointed just to get a T-shirt at the end of the run, would have been nice to have been given a goodie bag with a bottle of water and some sort of sugary snack in it. Overall I do have to say I ran it a little faster then my first half run. But not sure I would drive the 3 hours from Cambridge to do it again next year...... Date of review: October 24, 2005
