In short: Brilliant race!
In full: Thanks to all the Radnage organisers for providing a fantastic new race in the calendar. It was tough but great fun - the marshals were friendly and encouraging and considering it was their first race the organisation was like clockwork.

I'll definitely be back next year.

In short: Brilliant half marathon! - If you're tough enough!
In full: I absolutely love this race. If you don't like killer hills, driving rain and howling winds then stay at home. However if you like a real challenge and fancy running one of the top half marathons in the UK - this is for you. Superbly organised and marshalled, thanks very much to all at the Marlow Striders for putting on another great race.

Best race T-Shirt ever!

In short: Excellent Race - Water Stations a Problem
In full: From arriving at the car park (which was close to the start) things were really well organised. I didn't encounter any bottlenecks and the marshals en-route did a great job. However, only one water station on such a very hot day was verging on the dangerous. The first 5k was a long, hot run into the sun with no shade, it was clear that people were suffering. At the finish the water was a bit slow coming, especially for the later runners, however the marshals here were great at bringing it in by the bucketload and people just filled their cups - this seemed to work very well. I'll be back next year, but please - more water!

In short: Fine race, well organised and friendly
In full: This course has a bit of everything, grassy footpaths, rocky bridleways, fast roads and forest tracks. Marshalling and water stations were perfect. Ran the 10k, found myself "racing" people along the finishing straight only to find out they were doing another lap for the full half marathon. Bit embarrassing!! A big thank you to the organisers for a brillant event - will be back next year (for the full half m).

In short: Fantastic, friendly race.
In full: If you want a good reason for getting out of bed early on a Sunday morning then this is it. A great chase through the streets of Marlow. Marshalling was excellent ( as usual). The start was much better this year with the intoduction of expected time pens. The people of Marlow really make this race with terrific support. Thank you Handy Cross Runners for another super event.

In short: Very enjoyable race - organisation far better than last year
In full: Agree with earlier comments that some people started in the wrong pens, but for inexperienced runners there really wasn't too much guidance on this given by the marshalls. Interestingly, saw a couple of bumps/collisions caused by people with personal stereos/ipods.

Great support given by the Reading people.

In short: Well run, friendly event. A pleasant run around country lanes. The 2 drinks stations this year were very welcome!
