In short: A special event In full: My fourth Trionium Box hill event and again met all my expectations. With his quintessentially British eccentricity (check those boxer shorts and panama hat not to mention the perfunctory rendition of God Save the Queen) Dr Rob is becoming something of a cult figure in the running world down South. For those of us that love the hills there's not much on offer down this part of the country so these races are a godsend. I regarded the Picnic as hard as any ultra up North that I've done if only because of the merciless steps. Cheers Dr Rob for organising this race and allowing amateur runners like myself a day to remember. Come on, make this an annual event! Date of review: June 24, 2009
