In short: A great race in glorious sunshine!
In full: Cannot be beat. What a great way to spend a Sunday morning. Route was made for this, and the sunshine presented the glorious countryside at its best. What an up lifting expereince.

In short: Faultless organisation of a first run race
In full: Logistics proved great. Always a nice to start and finish on the track. A few playfull hills over the first 5 or 6K, but the pay off was the last 3K or so being largely downhill.

Only observation, the up and down section on the hill could have been better marshalled perhaps, instructing runners which side to use as facing onrunning runners is never ideal.

Overall, a fun morning. Many thanks

In short: Nice flat race around some familiar sights
In full: A little congested in places (1st 1K) but thinned out afterwards. Covered much of the route of the Great Manchester Run, and I would say 8K of it is in Trafford as opposed to Salford.

Logistics were good, plenty of parking, and the location at the Lowry was excellent.

In short: Nice friendly race
In full: Friendly race. Tricky course mainly on grass which proved a little challenging in humid conditions. Given the heat drinks at the end would have been nice. Overall, and enjoyable uplifting morning.

In short: Welcoming race. Nasty hill,
In full: A friendly, well organised race. I'n not sure 'undulating' did the hills justice, but all the effort paid off with the 3 mile downhill at the end.

In short: Great race, very well organised. Great advert for the NW
In full: Great venue to start and finish from which lent itself to the vent. Supporters and marshalls were marvelous throughout. After the debacle of the finish at Edinburgh this was silky smooth.

In short: A great performance by me, a woefull performance by the organisers
In full: First marathon for me and hit my target time. All previous posts have described the pitifull organisation at the end....one question not yet asked...who was the sadist who decided to put the reunion letters (once you got there) at the far end of the field..? Pathetic to be treated so shamefully after so manay people have run for such great causes. A little respect please.

In short: Friendly local race
In full: Luckilly the rain stopped for the start leaving some of the course waterlogged. Despite this, the marshalls did a greta job and the organisation was buttery smooth.

In short: Who knew Stockport was that hilly?
In full: Cold frosty morning made conditions a little tricky. Challenging hills at 5 and 8 miles. Great technical T-shirt. A few signs to the start would have helped, as I had to park some way away as the car parks were full.
