In short: Great race, could do with a clear route to the finish
In full: I enjoyed this race a lot more than I'd expected when I saw the weather forecast! The marshals were very friendly all the way round and the only problem I had was crossing the road into the leisure centre at the end - could have done with someone stopping cars to give runners priority.
Runners coming in towards the end of the race seemed to be struggling against the flow of people leaving as well - not an ideal finish!

In short: Castle chaos was a pity after a great race
In full: This is my third year of running this half and I thought that the start outside city hall was a big improvement, completely sorted out the usual crowding in the first few miles.
I was coming back from injury and was gutted when my knee gave out after 9 miles but the encouragement from the other runners as I walked / hopped the rest of the way was fantastic, thanks everyone.
Hopefully this will be back to finishing in the Millennium Stadium again next year... luckily my friends managed to make it into the castle grounds to meet me just before the entrance/exit completely clogged up! I completely missed the chip bins too, as did most people, judging by the number of runners with them still laced in.
Despite the chaos at the end, thanks to all the organisers and marshalls - I'm sure I'll be back next year.

In short: After last year, organisation at the end was a dream!
In full: I ran this for the first time last year and really enjoyed it until I finished - and had to queue for 40 minutes for a medal. So congratulations to the organisers this year, they really took last year's comments on board and sorted everything out.
I agree about needing to sort runners a bit better at the start - even without the excitement of the ambulance trying to get through the crowd just before the start, it was a real logjam for the first three miles until it spread out a bit in the docks.
I'm still thrilled with my sub-1h55 time though!
