In short: Have to say I really enjoyed this race and will 100% be back next year for it...
In full: Came 4th today in 1:16:09 I think... and worked my socks off for that and a PB as well... organisers were brill, course is fantastic if a little too undulating for my tastes, however, not mental, just hilly in place especially the mile 9 one... christ that wiped me out that did.

Have to say the only half better than this one is Lake Vyrmwy, and that's only because it holds a special place in my heart that one... this is right up there... may not be the flatest or quickest, but certainly one of the best!

In short: Lovely Race, great organisation...
In full: It IS an undulating course, and very challenging, but the last 3 mile are flatter so you do have an easier run in... certainly do this race again, thoroughly enjoyed it.

In short: Good Race, but probably wouldn't do it again...
In full: Reason being is, I don't think it's as fast as people seem to think... problems?

1). Conjection for the start.
2). Paths are slippery because of time of year/leaves.
3). You "turn" back on yourself twice, which loses around 10 seconds I reckon... bad idea
4). Running on paths sharing the path with runners coming the other way... bit dodgy and you concentrate on that instead of running.

Positives?
1). Good organisation.
2). Decent support for a park race
3). Nice medal
4). PB Potential (but NO WHERE NEAR) say Helena Tipping
5). Great atmos with the people running, friendly.

In short: What a Fantastic experience
In full: Well, what can I say... good atmosphere... lovely crowd... awesome race, but my god, what about those hills... dont' do this as a first off road like I did...

However, I'll be back next year, only this time I'll be trying to win it me thinks... 8th this year ;-)

In short: Have to say, what a race!
In full: As I PB'd it's obviously going to be good, however, organisation, first class... and man, that goody bag.,...

I'll 100% be back for this one next year... first time there and really enjoyed it. Good work and congrats to the organisers.

In short: Great race... great scenary....
In full: Have to say, good race this, although a fast course? maybe, but there's way faster like the Village Bakery in Wrexham. I'd say this race is around the same as the Helsby Four Villages for speed... however, great atmos on the course with locals making a really biug effort...

Thanks go out to the organisers and the locals for making it a good one.

However, organisers, move with the times and sort out chip timing. Then you won't have slow people at the front ;-)

In short: Pretty good, not a chance of a PB due to turns and twisties...
In full: ... however, it's a decent flat race, and as I came 17th, I've gotta be happy. Hopefully, will grow, but is one dull course and it's a shame that it doesn't go out across Croughton etc etc and around the countryside we have here in Ellesmere Port. Such a missed opertunity. However, have to say, very very well organised, and great finish on track...

Defo do it again next year. Not bad for a first race... ;-)
