In short: Although this was my first Yorkshire 10k I really enjoyed it. It is quite a tough course though and not one for a pb. I did pick up a prize as the first male over 45 which is always nice. I will be back next year to improve my time.

In short: One of the best 10k races 'Up North'
In full: The start and finish this year were greatly improved from previous years. Lots of freindly marshells on route and at the end. Plenty of bananas and water also at the end. Thanks Dewsbury RR and excellent job!!!!

In short: A good challenge
In full: The weather played a major part yesterday, with rain throuhout the running of the whole course. It really is a multi-terrain course so dont come expecting nice roads!! The distance markers were strange to say the least. A mile marker at the 2 & 3 point and that was it. Please can you mark it out in Km next year.

In short: An excellent and well organised run
In full: The weather was perfect and the pens for the start were a great help. Got my PB of 1hr and 26m. I was a bit disappointed by the 'Goody Bag' which did not contain a great deal!!!!!

In short: Well organised and worth the trip
In full: Although the weather was poor (cold & wet)I thought the race was very good. Plenty of marshalls and not too many hills. Could be a PB course with a little better weather. Thanks Wakefield

In short: T
In full: This was my first long run of the year and the weather was perfect although a little low cloud cover. It is an undualating course with lots of areas to do so good ground work on your running. I really enjoyed the run, but I had to work hard for it, I completed the run in 68 minutes which I felt was OK. If the weather had been a little kinder it would have made the event a lot better. Theres also lts for your supporters to do whilst your running up and down. I will be back next year. Thanks to the Grizedale support staff.
