In full: I enjoyed this race - it was my first at a big one!! Managed a pb so was very happy, I brought my own gels and very happy that I did so. I came in after the snow had started and maybe a foil blanket would have been a good idea - did see some people with them so they must have bought their own. Would have been nice not to have to take the chip off standing holding on to a rail and please take the medal out of the bag - small issue, but makes a big difference! Start would be better if sorted into pace timings. Hills not as bad as described apart from the hill going to the bridge - very sneaky!! All in all though a good race and looking forward to next years hopefully in better weather!!
