In short: Nice scenery, nicwe organisation, I'll be back.
In full: Well organised; Supportive marshals; I liked the jelly babies; Could have done with a drink at about 8-9 miles; Could have done with a bit of training as well instead of carb loading on alcohol the night before. Good job it didn't start till midday. I'm either getting slower(definitely) or too many good club runners as it was a bit lonely at the back

In short: Hills, mud and views
In full: Not a PB race, but taken steady there is plenty of time to admire the scenery. Great fun and well organised. Very friendly cheering marshalls. Well worth the 150 mile round trip. Definitely one to put on the calender for next year.

In short: Off-roaders do it in the mud !
In full: Great race. Well organised. Thanks to a wet autumn and heavy overnight rain there was plenty of mud. Just what I wanted. Someone said there were hills, but I'd just call it gently undulating. A hill is when you are reduced to a walk ! I,m sure I'll come again next year and wear my bright yellow baseball cap !

In short: Excellent
In full: Agreed not many races have checkpoints along the route, but start, three checkpoints, three intermediate water stations, and the finish, all with porta-loos. WI providing hot drinks and cakes at halfway and finish. Need I go on? A great event, superbly organised. Did I mention the minibus service from start/finish to checkpoints and back? Who neds to drag round 26.2 miles of tarmac when you can do events like this?

In short: Well organised, including the weather.
In full: Lots of runners, great atmosphere, good route, cheering crowds, lovely weather. No doubt a good race for the elite runners but an excellent race for the mid to low field like me. Who needs to queue to get off the car park when you can have a pint of bitter and a pork butty in the club house?

In short: Up and down in the sunshine, Great!
In full: Tough but not too bad. Great scenery. That is assuming you look at it and not the cowpats. Not as hard as the Rubery 10k last year, but I wouldn't neccessarily recommend running the Waseley Hills 10 miler having done the Stourbridge "Stumble" 10k the evening before. Unless you're a glutton for punishment, or an idiot (like me). Still a great race and very well organised.

In short: Nice race, great organisation.
In full: First time for my local race and thoroughly enjoyed it. Missed PB this time by 20 seconds as I had trained hard all week on late nights and alcohol. his was the first race I'd done where ALL the kilometre markers were in place and visible. Excellent, it makes keeping track of time etc. so much easier. Well done to all the organising team.
