In short: What a fantastic race!!! Will do it again in a flash!
In full: well done to the organisers, this was a great race and we had so much fun.

next year I am definitely wearing a bell on my hat, a few people had them and it really added to the atmosphere.

it's nice to do a fun run after a year of serious runs - you can't get much more fun than this!

In short: If you treat it as a fun run and don't worry about PB's it is fantastic!
In full: It took approx. 15 minutes to get to the start line but once through route was wide enough to get pass slower runners/walkers. Usual hazards....people stopping in front of you or throwing water bottles under your feet. Couldn't believe the amount of spectators, atmosphere was great. Didn't have any problem at all getting water or lucozade and stations were well placed. Would never run it in the hope of getting a PB (especially since I turned up at 9.20am...) so once you settle into just having a good time it's great.

In short: Badly organised race, weather was 30 degrees plus and they appeared to have run out of water. Runners and even walkers were collapsing with heat exhaustion but there were not enough paramedics on site to help them.
In full: I love 10k races but would not sign up for this one again, and you definitely would never set a personal best here! route is too narrow and you are trapped behind slower runners/walkers.
