In short: Tough, but worth a go.......
In full: Never a good sign when you're going downhill at the beginning of a race!!! The sting in the tail was waiting for us at the 7K mark. My 1st race in 9 months and determined not to stop. Collapsed into a heap at the finished. Reassuringly, could hear people standing over me "Well he should be OK - he's got good colour!!!"

Organisation = Excellent
Local Support = Excellent

P.S If you like this hilly palaver and you’re a bit a masochist, try the Crowborough 10K in November. Palesgate Hill twice! O’ and watch out for the ford!!!

In short: Really enjoyed the race. Excellent local support and stewards. Did a PB and even had my race number signed by Kelly Holmes. Great day. A definite for next year.
