In short: Great location for Half Marathon - Big hills to finish though!
In full: First time for Anglesey half, but did the 10k a couple of years ago. Weather was close to perfect and event was well organised. A few points to note:

1. Second half of race feels like a never ending hill
2. Not sure it would have been much fun waiting for half marathon start if the weather was bad - 1.5hrs with no shelter.
3. But a great event, well worth the journey.

In short: Friendly, Fast and Fun
In full: As a first time Triathlete, moving from longer distance running, this was a treat.Very easy introduction into the sport, everyone was very helpful and my 7 year old daughter entered her first event - We are both hooked.

Shame so few competitors came forward to help with the marshalling, which caused the organisers some headaches.

If they run it next year and you have never done one before, this is the ideal first event.

In short: A real mess at the start, great after
In full: The start of this race did not work at all. The route included a lap of a park, but the faster runners then ran into the slower main pack who were just crossing the line. However, following this rather shambolic start, the race was great. A few hills, but mainly flat parkland and country lanes.

I'm sure the organisers will fix the starting issues for next year!
