In short: Well organised and friendly
In full: Well worth the car journey down down from London, despite the cost of petrol. Welcoming, friendly fun run for children with thoughful goody bag and prizes for different age groups.

In short: Very friendly charity race
In full: Very friendly and well organised. Potential for pb, until you realise that the course is 10.3K which adds a minute or two to your time. Very flat, great tented village with lots of refreshments including a bar. Very well organised kids run.

In short: Uplifting, but very tough
In full: I have come from a running background and thought I was fairly fit, but this race put pay to those ideas and I found the run section the toughest of the three legs.

Having said that this was an extremely well organised and supported race in and around Windsor.

The need to re-open roads to traffic meant an early start with waves of atheletes going off at 6am through to the elite wave at 9am.

In short: A great first triathlon
In full: A great first triathlon, with a relatively short swim and managable cycle and run legs. Parking and registration went smoothly and the event was generally well organised by Human Race, who also organise many other events.

The location was good in that it was on private property and therefore the cycle and run were completely safe with no traffic.

My only minor complaint would be the boring 2 lap run course up the side of a relatively boring lake. This was offset somewhat by the great support, and was probably necessary anyway to keep the runners and cyclers from bumping into each other.

In short: Well organised local fun run
In full: A scenic course through very pleasant countryside and woods. It could have been very muddy if conditions had not been bone dry as they were today. Very well marshalled, but it needed to be given the twisty course.

The 300 or so competitors appeared to be mainly local parents of the school, so not a fast field. I believe times were taken, but I am not clear whether they were published or not.

In short: Great fun
In full: I did the Saturday race - there were about 600 runners, so a good group and not too crowded.

In short: A tough road race around Epsom Racecourse
In full: I get to post the first review so I will try to be reasonably comprehensive.

A well marshalled and well organised race around Epsom, Walton, Tadworth and Headley - I am not a local, but I think those are the place names I saw. The course was roads throughout, so the conditions underfoot were good, although you do have to be careful of traffic, particularly in the early part of the race. The course undulated, but given the area, I didn't think it was as hilly as it might have been.

The entry fee is modest, but there was a medal and water at the end and a few generour supporters cheering everyone home. I guess there were about 300 runners, so perhaps not an ideal race for for very slow first timers; they might prefer one of the larger races that can have a very long tails of slower runners to finish with.

I enjoyed the race and will run next year if I get the chance.

Note that this is a completely different course to the Tadworth 10, which is a multi terrain and tougher.

In short: Excellent, well organised race. The support puts big city races to shame.
In full: This was the first time I have run the race and I was pleasantly surprised by the entire event, despite reading very positive reviews of the race in the past.

I will definitely do it again.

In short: Well organised, multi terrain race
In full: A well organised and tough race that undulates around a course centred on Legoland. The family 4K also very well organised.

In short: Flat and fast - a bit crowded at the start.
In full: The October field was a lot smaller than the race earlier in the year and more enjoyable for it. Nevertheless it would be helpful if the organisers took on board comments that the start should have indicative finish times to give the faster runners a chance.
