In short: lovely Sunday morning run
In full: Despite dreading running up Wimbledon Hill this race was generally pretty flat and the downhill section towards the end was welcome. The marshals were great and the organisation generally really good.

In short: Amazing experience
In full: Wow - what an amazing day. I may be suffering from painful legs and the biggest blister ever but I really don't care. I had the best day ever and managed to beat my 4 hour target. The crowds support was fantastic too. I haven't stopped smiling!

In short: 3rd time and still love it!
In full: I had the most fantastic day on Sunday. Organisation at the start has improved which means that runners are mainly allocated a start area which corresponds with their ability. As always the atmosphere was amazing and the camaraderie between the runners was great. Loved it and will definitely be back in 2008!

In short: Pleasant run in a good atmosphere
In full: I really enjoyed this race. It was a sticky day and there weren't really enough water stations but that's my only gripe. I thought the staggered start was really good and meant that there wasn't too much congestion.
I didn't experience too many problems at baggage collection but could see there were big queues forming by the time I collected my bag.
A really nice flat route which on a less humid day would make for PB potential.

In short: A beautiful day which added to the enjoyment. However, the multiple laps made it quite tedious and it was far too narrow in places which meant congestion especially on the first lap.

In short: Fantastic atmosphere. A "must-do" half marathon
In full: This was my 2nd GNR and despite some minor gripes about being stuck quite a long way back behind some much slower runners at the start which meant a couple of miles of dodging walkers, I had a fantastic day. The atmosphere is fantastic and the support from the crowd and other runners kept me going. I managed to take 11 minutes off my 2005 time to get a pb of 1hr 50. I'll definitely be back in 2007.
