In short: fab event for all runners In full: A couple of years ago I had a go about this even so its only fair that I do my rating again. 2010 was a fantastic event, any problems folk had in the past have been sorted. The atmosphere was brilliant, even the weather was perfect. My family enjoyed the big screen in the Lawns complex and saw me finish. And it was great that once they saw me off at the start, as they walked down towards the finish that they saw the race come past them again. Crowds were amazing. Well done to all involved in the organisation. Date of review: March 22, 2010

In short: Fantabulous event, can we do it again nextweek ;o) In full: A brilliant event and has to be one of the best organised ones too. I dont do the off road thing but loved the viking way and its mud, and how quick are those last few miles. Pity the tea man hadnt opened earlier but to be fair he probably wanted to stay where it was warm lol. Lea and her marshalls were fantastic, they musthave been frozen and yet were still cheering and clapping all the way round. I cant talk this event up enough. Well done Sleaford Striders, see you in 2011. Date of review: March 1, 2010

In short: Surprisingly good :o) In full: To be brutally honest, not alot about Coventry impresses me...... but this did. One of the best organised halves ive done..... and one of the toughest ha ha. Great marshalling, great crowds, brilliant organisation. Not bad for £16. The only thing I chuntered abit about was folk not starting where they should but to be fair, the resposibility for that is down to the runners themselves maybe a marshalled pen system could be the nextstep similar to GNR or GER. Buts its a minor point. Its a great race and would love to see it get bigger. Finishing in the city centre was brilliant. I cant speak highly enough of this event, see you in May Date of review: October 26, 2009

In short: Newark did it again :o) In full: Well done organisers, a fab event, thankyou. My 4th Newark half and for only a tenner its brilliant. Much better than most. Marshalls as always were superb and the folks at the water stations were brilliant and encouraging. It was hot though but I even called the guy spraying us with water a "god". A slow time for me but I did do a course best so very very happy. A bit surprised some folks are complaining but i guess thats their perogotive. See you in 2010 Date of review: August 10, 2009

In short: One of the best 10 milers. In full: Had a great day, buisness park bit was fine cos thats where the supporters were. Lack of respect by some folk continuously talking over the organiser at the start..... and then they say they dont know why the start was delayed! And it was only 10 minutes, so no big deal really. Highly reccomended, might even come back next year, the light rain was a nice touch too, kept us nice n cool. :o) Date of review: April 10, 2009

In short: Great event..... with a big cake at finish :op In full: Its so much easier to do 20 miles in a crowd and this was ideal. A tough course but a good tester for the legs. Marshalls were superb and full of encouragement. Very tired at the end but satisfied. and then a big cake an a big cup of coffee and a natter to other finishers made for a lovely Sunday run out.
