In short: Brilliant event, atmosphere - marred by chronic disorganisation at 'meet and greet'
In full: My third London and in terms of the race it is the best organised large marathon there is. The only BUT is the chaos then ensued in the meet and greet area, where thousands of relatives attempted to cram into what became a relatively small space - and then attempted to leave through exits that became severe bottlenecks. I ended up standing still for about an hour and rapidly cramped up and cooled to shaking levels. I reckon that there are around 4-6 supporters for each fun runner, which makes for a massive assembly at the end. This aspect of the event needs to be reviewed.
The only other gripe is the'one size fits all' finishers t-shirt. This has meant that big chested folk like me with lots of 'muscle' cannot wear it, which is a big disappointment.

In short: A great course and very special when the sun shines
In full: Overall a great event - mainly due to a very attractive and forgiving course, with surperb sea views. Organisation pretty good as well. The only blot concerns the logistics of getting in and getting out - long queues both ways, which meant big delays in people getting to start (at least they pushed back the start by 10 mins). I have done all 5 Llanelli half's and as they get bigger each year, so the organisers need to think about how to cope with the increasing transport problems.

In short: Well organised, good atmosphere though course congested
In full: My fifth race and another year, a new route - this time missing out the barrage (due to works) which meant a few more twists and turns and overall a generally fiddly course with quite a lot of congestion. No energy drink stations was surprising, which would have been expected for a race of this length. Start and finish much better orgainised than last year.

In short: Great course but need to get finish better organised
In full: A flat, fast, scenic course with a good start area but finishing in the castle was a mistake (castles, funnily enough, were designed with very few entrances and exits!). Apart from the finish, it was pretty good. I'll do it again.

In short: Scenic, flat, well organised.
In full: An improved course from 2006 and better organisation and facilities as well. Hardly touching any roads/traffic is a definte plus and there always some glorious coastline in sight.

In short: An excellant event which will grow in popularity
In full: Very pleasant run along a generally flat landscaped coastal park with great views on the Gower penninsla, distant Atlantic, estuary and beaches. The 'up & back' nature of the course could annoy some and would mitigate against a very large entry (this was limited to c 250). The wind will always be a factor in this location which will make parts tough when strong.
