In short: Very slick race.
In full: Quite wet this year, but marshals were fantastic in controlling runners and traffic. Glad they didn't cancel on the day as it turned out to be an event to be talked about for years to come. "Do you remember Billericay 2012 when it........?"

In short: Tough as old boots
In full: Great race. My first attempt and was made to feel welcome. Can't really fault anything as this was a properly organised event. However, I doubt I would do it in hot conditions.

In short: Lovely, tough race
In full: Excellent race that was tough in places. Excellent marshalling, especially the part where runners were going in both directions and so were the cars! That looked difficult for the marshals, especially with the impatient drivers.

Lovely day helped the atmosphere.

In short: Great race on new course
In full: Tough "hilly" course of 3 laps.

The race needs more marshals as I somehow ran past a turning where there was a sign but no marshal, but luckily I was called back. It was raining at the time and I wasn't concentrating. On some turnings there were plenty of marshals and others none, which was a bit disappointing.

However, free tea and a very good tshirt were included and all for an incredibly cheap price. Good to know we weren't being ripped off.

Very good venue and facilities.

See you next year.

In short: Tough Slog, but well worth the effort
In full: No problems personally, but there does need to be a few more marshals at junctions, especially at larger side roads. There were a few incidents being discussed afterwards.

Where were all the Essex club runners, (inside M25 excepted)?

In short: Excellent event. Ideal for first time and experienced athletes.
In full: Enjoyed every minute of this event (I think). It was very well organised. An extra tent for bags would be a good idea or provide a bigger one and maybe the website should have been updated by now with all those photos and the results, but maybe the team have gone on holiday.

In short: Well Organised. Tough course.
In full: Three races, so organisation has to be good and it was, apart from the start of half. Shame the prize giving was attended by so few, not that this will ever trouble me. Good event though.

In short: The title says it all - funrun
In full: Well organised, cheap out and back run. The absence of any meaningful attempts to produce results (no official timekeepers) voids any claims to calling it a race. No winners' prizes either (not that I'd win any). Good idea to call it a funrun.
