In short: fast, flat course and smooth organisation
In full: Surprised that there are no ratings of this. Its a sizeable 10M on a flat course, well organised and the 'off road' bit hardly slows you down. The wind was strong and blustery but overall, fast course, nice race. Thank you organisers!

In short: nice off road event with some short but nasty inclines!
In full: Really enjoyed this race. It is quite low key, friendly and charming. You set off from a sports ground and then descend steeply into the woods. Some very tough hills, someone said that they were 20%. Like most I had to walk up several. Organisation was fine. However, the 'organised warm up' only occurred 5 min before the start. I'm done warming up by then! Also, I only saw a drinks station near the end of lap 3, and unless I missed it, no drinks station at the finish. I would have been nice if it was in place for lap 2. Most of the 15k crowd will have run 40min plus by then already.

That said, the course was great, the athmosphere very friendly, and the view of Charterhouse superb. Really lovely outing. I'll be back next year.

In short: Decent runaround at the back end of Southampton
In full: A decent 10k, well worth turning up for. Well marshalled, quite accurate km markers, I think, and plenty of apples and bananas provided at the end. For the second year in a row it was uncomfortably warm, so well done to the organisers for adding an extra drinks station.

The course is slightly trickier than fast, I'd say with some non steep but still noticeable inclines and a bendy off road section. But nothing frightening.

A nice morning out and back home again lunch time.

In short: Nice start to a family day out
In full: This is a nice 10k in nice surroundings. There are off road and grassy bits, and winding, but flattish and reasonably quick.
Quite a low key race but pleasant all round.
5k marker was there but not sure that it was accurate. 9k marker certainly wasn't!
All in all, a lovely day out.

In short: A real race for runners by runners.
In full: A well organised race. I didn't have a good day but that's only my own fault. With hindsight, I should have appreciated the opportunity to have your own drinks at two stations. I didn't and regretted it!
Many thanks to the man in red who sorted out my cramp in the latter stages. You at least made sure that I could finish even though it must was a struggle in the last 4, or 5 Miles. Like to come back next year, and do better.

In short: A course that can make grown men cry - but having done it you can only smile!
In full: Thank you Portsmouth Joggers! It is an amazing course in testing conditions - but what a rite of passage type race it is! Well done.

In short: Another well organised race by Portsmouth Joggers. Well done people!
In full: I can never decide whether this race is actually hilly or not. I did find the inclines a bit stride breaking this time, probably because I was pushing for a time. It's not that bad, but it's not flat-ish either!

In short: Lovely run through the least hilly parts of the New Forest
In full: Lovely run in summery conditions. Most is off road but on well trodden country lanes. Nothing too off-the-roady, and a fair bit of asphalt as well. Not a PB course, but not slow either.

Little DF enjoyed the 1/2M children fun run, particularly as she beat Scooby Doo by at least 3 seconds.

Well worth signing up for

In short: Very well marshalled and lightly undulating course
In full: A well organised 10k, with small up and downs but nothing too steep. Terribly warm this year! Praise to the organisers for putting the kilometer markers precisely right and organising an extra drink station at short notice.
