In short: Tough, great fun, love it!!!
In full: The organisation is difficult, mainly as many (including me) enter on the day 'cos we're worried about the weather. Otherwise, well organised and marshalled.

In short: Another year, another cracking event, well done YTRRC
In full: Yes, of course it was muddy! Not half as much as last year so the ice covered route was a nice touch. Delicious soup and crusty bread after, what more could you want.

In short: Tesco caused the problems, The Lions were great
In full: Tesco apparently promised the Lions (organisers) that the roadworks would be finished, so the poor parking was Tesco's fault. Unfortunately, the poor access had a knock on effect in delaying everyone, hence the perceived problems in registration.
Personally, I had no problems, the race was up then down, a bit like my form!
For a charity event, the value was good & some club/professional race organisers could learn from here!
Well done Ilminster Lions, I shall enter next year so please arrange the same weather!

In short: Done 3 times, too expensive to do again
In full: At £30 plus £3 parking (minimum), this is just too costly for a 10 miler. Good quality T-shirt but not technical, solid medal & lucozade abviously a major sponsor, but the goody bag doesn't justify the price.
Yes, I have pbs for the last three years & at last was awarded a first wave entry so I had a free run. But while newcomers & fundraisers will always enjoy this, for a serious, but not elite, runner like me, it doesn't push the right buttons. Sorry.

In short: Another good one from Egdon Heath Harriers
In full: Due to the hill that tou go over twice, its not really pb potential...unless you're a running lunatic - I pb'd by over a minute!!

In short: Too many inclines, not enough downhill
In full: Excellent race with professional organisation and a brilliantly challenging course. For a 7 miler to be that knackering it has to be a bit special.

In short: What brilliant organisation, the best I've seen & I've seen a few!
In full: A really good race with organisation that tops everywhere else. So many marshalls & water station people it makes you wonder if there's not a lot else to do in the area! I'm not keen on bad weather so when the race was posponed I thought I was on to a winner. It was tough & you know you've done this one!
Well done to all involved.
JUST ONE GRIPE - YOU RUNNERS, CARRY A GEL FOR 10 MILES AND THEN APPARENTLY YOU CAN'T CARRY THE EMPTY PACKET HOME! SHAME ON YOU FOR LITTERING, IT'S INCREDIBLE YOU CAN BE SO DAMN LAZY!!
My apologies to Axe Valley for those who are so thoughtless.

In short: Once again, a very enjoyable race
In full: Stupidly, I have just done a 10K pb on this tough course, one week before London. Just shows how the fantastic weather & great village welcome, push you on to great things. thanks to all.
