In short: Enjoyable and well organised.
In full: Due to some late entries the start was delayed but this is a good thing as it means more people are running. I think it was about 700! The course is generally flat and fast apart from a bridge half way. However, I knocked 45s off my PB from Alsager.

Thanks to all involved!

In short: The best so far.
In full: Well, the new course is great and Parliament was not bad at all. Running through three parks and through some of the more historic parts of Liverpool was a great idea.

Getting a little too close to the Albert Dock by going the wrong way at the start was a pain though. I am not going to wave a pitchfork at Alan though.

In short: Love it, lothe it!
In full: Why do we put ourselves through this? Because it is worth it. 10k is a short distance but this little fiend makes up for it.

The field of runners is very varied with some amazing athletes amongst the mortals. This is why I love running.

In short: Fast and flatish.
In full: The milling around at the start was a bit weird, especially when the huge lorry approached the crowd. However, things went well when the race started and the marshalls were fine. Mile 10 drained so much energy due to the wind and it was a very gentle but relentless incline. The last mile is very fast. Good race for PBs.

In short: Good fast race.
In full: Maybe previous reviews have coloured my opinion, which is largely positive. The start IS very congested and there were a few people who hit the deck. Once started though the race is flat as any and a good few supporters along the route. Thanks to all who cheered us on!

Chip timing may help alleviate some of the pushing at the start.

In short: Ejoyable rop through the forst on a Sunday morning.
In full: It was like the fairies had scattered a layer of pixie dust on the trees and ground. It was cold! Good, fun race. Weird corralling at the start with the barrier though! Thanks to the organisers for a good race.

In short: Great race with a mixed field.
In full: First, thanks to all involved in the organisation. Well organised race, traffic free and pretty fast, despite the 'undulations'. There is something for everyone here!

In full: Lots of it. Undulating. Lots of undulations! Great value run in a muddy part of Wigan/Standish. Well done Wigan Phoenix for another great race.
