In short: Greeat race
In full: this was a series of 5 races of 5 nights, i only did the Sunday one tho as travelling would be bit much every night, anyway, lovely race, nearly all club runners which made me bit nervous but everyone was very freindly, great spread of sarnies, cakes and biccies galore back at village hall, and lots n lots of spot prizes (i didnt win any tho..) i thought we were getting some sort of memento ie- goody bag or mug but never got one :o( mind you at £3 i cant complain i guess, i do like something to remind me of race tho... route was lovely, big hill on way back helped me pick off at least 3 people woohoo, just as well i live in edinburgh at top of a hill eh lol

In short: came in 2.05
In full: ok, was looking for PB but hadnt accounted for the hills and the vicious headwind for last 5 miles !! oh and i did walk thru every drink station as i never usually take in any liquids during a 1/2 but as i'm marathon traning i know i must get used to it, all in all i guess thats why no pb for me
anyway, as it was all last minute decision to do this, i'm very glad i did, beautiful race, fantastic organisation and great support from locals, free massge at end, medal, goody bag and a tshirt, all for a bargain basement £13 (cheaper if you enter earlier, i only did today)thanks to organisers and marshalls, i'll be back for sure, oh i got special mention as i finsihed for being last entry to the race!
