In short: Brilliant. Made me feel like I was 10 years old again. (What do you mean its 13 miles?)
In full: Really, really enjoyed this. Splish, splash, splosh. Squelch.

The much feared X zone was a bit dull though and the lady running the chip tent told me that it was 13 miles (there were 13 "m"s on the map) which was wrong and messed with my pace a bit.

Looks like the organisors have lost sponsership from solamon saab as the race T-shirt was a inferior to a solamon branded one.

In short: Enjoyable local race with nice flat course
In full: As I live local this race is always something I wanted to do and I really enjoyed it.

However, knowing staines very well I think it is a shame that the course can't utilise the river and tow path. (which it runs parallel to) This is my normal training route and its fantastic. It would elevate the event a fair bit.

In short: Enjoyable romp at an atractive venue
In full: Got an unexpected fast time was that really 10k?
After a bit of ran the ground dug up a bit, but once on the flat the going was good. Enjoyed myself alot with solid race organisation.
