In short: I like Clumber, I liked the new course
In full: What t shirts ? We certainly weren't offered any. The goody bag wasnt in a bag but like a Crackerjack armful ( note age of runner ). The instructions with distance from car park were a down right lie. It was never 5 minutes to the old registration point this time more like 15. Black marks for One Step Beyond all round

In short: Hot day good race goody deficient
In full: Admittedly a hot day but most drinks stations were too short. Result . Stop. Queue. Only water to drink after the race. A few gallons of squash would have been a good investment. Not usually picky about goody bags but this was poor. Could be so much better as an event

In short: Great well organised race. Shame about the litter louts
In full: Really good organisation as we have come to expect and as enjoyable as 20 miles can be. Very disappointed with a number of my fellow runners. Not only discarding bottles everywhere but one guy in front of me threw his bottle 10 yards across a hedgerow in to a ditch. Normal behaviour or does tiredness affect people?

In short: Fog didnt help but the organisation was a bit flaky
In full: Never seen a finish quite like it . Cars parked made it very narrow and runners competing with cars buses etc made it less than safe. 90 degree bend 25 yards from finish

In short: Just get the organisation right !
In full: I have done this race several times and the early chaotric organisation had improved year on year . But this year back to shambolic. One Step Beyond should be ashamed of the pre race arrangements. I keep coming back cos of Clumber

In short: Loved to new finish , great race
In full: Lovely day , nice course , really enjoyed it and great BLUE t shirt. Couple of niggles. Start needs straightening out ( even if its a 10.75k ) and 3 and 4k markers can't both have been right. Great event
