In short: Very enjoyable - despite the hills In full: Despite the hills - I thought this was a very enjoyable run through some scenic country roads around Watford. The marshalls were very helpful and encouraging. There could have been a few more water stations - but the toilet and changing facilities were good. Not sure what happend to the goody bags. In short: On the whole a really enjoyable race In full: I thought this was a really enjoyable race, in a nice location. The fine weather really helped. The organisers have agreed to amend the times and I'm looking forward to receiving my new - quicker- time for a half marathon rather than a 13.5 mile race. More toilets are needed for this number of competitors, especially for nervous runners like me! I nearly missed the start of the race because of the 20min queue. Also there did not seem to be any staggering at the start according to predicted finish time, but that may have been because I was late joining the starters and ended up in the wrong place. Otherwise, well organised. Date of review: February 21, 2012

In short: Fantastic location, great marshalling - parking needs to be improved In full: Windsor Great Park is a great location to run in - although a bit too hilly for my liking. The marshals were great and 'inspirational'. The 'goody bag' of a Mars Bar, water and Lucozade was a bit poor after 13.1 miles. The parking does need some reorganisation; it took us 60 mins to exit the park, with all cars converging on one small exit at once. It would also be better if the race could start in the morning rather than 1pm. Date of review: September 28, 2010

In short: Have already entered for 2011 In full: I know that the second half of the course is quicker but according to the chip timing I ran the second 5K in half the time that I had run the first! Well organised race apart from having to stand around at the start for nearly an hour. My fans however do not think it is a spectator friendly event, especially at the finish. I enjoyed it and have already entered for 2011. Date of review: June 2, 2010

In short: Probably the best organised mass run in London In full: Although a few tweeks are needed on the toilet facilities, baggage drop off and number of freebies at the end- this is a very well organised race. Great venue, nice course and great for spectators. Date of review: October 12, 2009

In short: Hope this is the first of a regular event In full: My only whinge is that the marshalling could have been better especially in the Mall and in some parts of Hyde Park. Spectators were crossing the road without any consideration for runners or running in front of their friends to take pictures. There really was potential for some serious accidents. Other than that the organisation was good and there was a great atmosphere. The course was very scenic and flat - with lots of PB potential. All the freebies at the end were great too. Hope this becomes a regular event. Date of review: October 13, 2008

In short: More Loos Please! In full: The organisation was worse that last year. As there were so many complaints about the loo queues last year I thought there would be more portaloos, not less. I had to queue for 30 mins - and I had got there early. There were too many people, but it would not have seemed so bad if they had been in the right wave. Other than that a great event - in a great location. I am pleased with my PB! Date of review: July 20, 2008

In short: Great Atmosphere - Great goodie bag In full: With so many people of mixed abilties there needs to be a staggered start next year to avoid accidents. Competitors intending to walk were lining up at the front of the start. Otherwise - atmosphere was great and the goodie bag was well worth it. Date of review: September 16, 2007
