In short: Great race, superbly organised and plenty of drinks stations. Good technical t-shirt & even got a large bag of Haribos in the goody bag. What more could a girl wish for?! Well done to the organisers - a huge success. Will be back next year

In short: Hilly, tough, windy, rainy - but great fun!
In full: A great marathon. Friendly marshalls, great scenery and good pockets of supporters. Long wait in the rain for the buses to take us to the start - glad I had my bin bag on! Will definitely be back next year.

In short: What a great race. First marathon and also first time I've been over-taken by two elephants and a giant tomato!
In full: Amazing atmosphere. Crowd, volunteers etc were superb. Plenty of water stations and loos. Thankfully not desperate enough to have to use the female 'urinals' at the start! Would recommend this event to anyone looking to do their first marathon as the crowd really help you round.

In short: Well organised but rather pricey race
In full: Bottle neck start meant that I lost the 9 minute mile pacer in the crowds. Must have overtook at some point as finished quicker than that pace! Expensive race what with dear entrance fee, car park fee and cost of tunnels in and out of city. Last three miles along Otterspool prom and Kings Parade a bit tedious. Course mainly flat, although a few sneaky hills in Sefton Park. Energy drinks apprecited at mile 10. Think the organisers could make use of the Echo Arena for more pleasant toilets, somewhere to change etc.

In short: Great training for FLM, flat and quiet course
In full: Well organised race. My first attempt at this distance and the marshalls were very encouraging most of the way round. Good atmosphere. Bit pricey - cheap t-shirt as momento. Friendly race which I definitely plan to run again.
