In short: superb event my first marathon not easy for sure but VERY rewarding
In full: I will be back next year if my body lets me! Only one word of advice to first timer runners of this race. Start fast and you may pay later, the second 13m is much harder than the first!

In short: really nice race part of a festival so lots of atmosphere
In full: I really enjoyed this race. The course is mixed terrain, not totally flat, but certainly not slow either. The atmosphere and support is very good and everyone seemed to have a great time, lots of prizes too! Course goes through some National Trust land and is quite pretty in places. Only possible gripe is changing facilities may be a slight problem for some. DO not let this put you off though it really is a nice race.

In short: very well organised race i enjoyed it a lot!
In full: My first time at the Farndon 10K. This year saw a new course apparently so remember this when comparing with older reports. Course is undulating i would say no proper hills though and a good challenge not pan flat time trial! Wind can be interesting too, if you feel you are flying for the first mile that may be due to tailwind and slight down hill start. Remember that as the finish is in the same place so will be into the wind and dragging!

In short: my second ever race excellent fun!
In full: This was my second ever race. Excellent organisation. There were about 1300 people in the race and it still went like clockwork, ok bit of a cue for the toilets but hey, i shouldn't have arrived late! Goodie bag at the end was most pleasent suprise, never got one of those when i used to cycle race... Hope to be back next year.
