In short: Do this race!
In full: Was a great race to do, 1st timers would definately get the bug after this one. The support was huge, the goodie bag was fantastic and the overall organisation was incredible.
Only thing that caused a problem was the sheer number of runners that caused problems at the water stations, they simply got over overwhelmed but coped really well.

In short: Sneaky... they Leave the 'fun' parts til the end !
In full: This race makes every other one seem like a breeze!

You go for several miles and think that the hills and water are over with and then come the bog of doom and the hills of hell, so if you weren't tired, wet and absolutely knackered by then you soon would be.

The marshalls, the organising and the goodie bags were the best ever and even though the inside of my washing machine may never recover, as well as a few items of clothing I'd do it again. It was fantastic fun... :-)

In short: Good course, found 3 hills.... 2 speed bumps and a mini-roundabout!
In full: It was a great race to do, had a real 'big event' feel to it and the organisation matched it. Haven't experienced that sort of thing before and would definately go back again.

The initial pack that came through with race details made you realise that this was really well organised.

PB potential is excellent as the amount of people on the route make you run faster. Noth the most scenic in places but you can't have it all!

Only problem is that the finish area for runners to file through should've been bigger.

In short: Up-hill, very muddy and an impromptu ice bath near the end !!
In full: Nice scenic run, I thought! Well it would've been if it hadn't been raining for the last few days which turned it into a mud bath / slide. Running down the muddy hills was for the brave or people with spikes. Running up them was for the people who were really fit...not like me. Any thoughts there were of being clean went out of the window after about 1st mile.

Overall it was well organised even if the miles counting down did confuse for a part. Will be interesting to do it in reverse next year !!

In short: Great Race, just a shame that I wasn't the only one one who thought it was a 10k not a 10mile! Felt brilliant for doing it though, even if it was damn hot !!
In full: Start of the race was a bit confusing and congested as it started on a road that still had a small amount of traffic on, couldn't hear the guy with the mega-pohne but the info did filter down the field eventually. Some early parts were a bit cramped for a big field, but it didn't last for long so was ok. 1st water station had problems so felt sorry for the people battling to sort this out! Marshalling was really good and facilities were excellent.

Luckily, as I found out during the race that I wasn't the only one who had put in for this thinking the 'Harlow 10' was 10k and not 10 mile. Was a good race and I have nearly stopped smiling from being able to still stand at the end.

All in all it was a really good race and well organised.
