In short: There is little more I can say that hasn't already been said by others.
In full: School report would say “good effort but must do better!!”

I agree with everything that Katarina Darcy and other have said - Finish was shocking. Organisers need to improve and take a look at races like Loch Ness, Dunfermline or GSR for tips. I'm still waiting for a response to my email query it been 7 weoking days now!!

That said I'm happy with my new PB.

In short: Good race but needs a little work
In full: After interloq took over this event there were high hopes however even though the race was better than previous ones there are a few problems. The issue with the start it was delayed and no there was sound (hooter etc..) to signal that start and there was lack of communication. People cutting corners or not going through the cones - other words people not actually following the route marshalls did nothing about it. The t-shirts had no relevance to the race only the Q-buster online entry thing. Also there was actually no one directing cars in Camperdown before the start and when I went back to the car I noticed a couple of cars had been dumped and blocked exit paths of other cars. Some mile markers were out of place, mile 11 was well out of place. Few people said there was a lack of water stations. There were also good points such as nice finish & nice medal. Course was ok but the climb in last 3/4 miles was hard going. Crowds were good but not that brillant weather played a part in that.

In short: A very open course and often very windy, PB's potential depends on a lot on the weather and how you tackle the hills.

In short: Great race with excellent start and finish, some things were a little disappointing
In full: This was my first marathon and broke the time I had hoped for when serious training started. Loved every minute of it, the crowds were great and such a great feeling when you cross that finish line. The Expo was good even signed up for another race while I registred for this one. Good bag was a average but nothing to rave about. Raised over £1000 for charity. The weather had a huge impact but the pain suffered was only temporary while the menories and medal will last forever.

In short: A great race on a gorgeous hot day in Glasgow.
In full: Did the 1/2M in the GSR for the first time and recorded a time of 2 hours 22 minutes. Had never done a race over 5 miles before. As soon as I got up at 6am i was excited and standing on the start line I could wait to get going. Very slow first mile but enjoyed every minute of the race. Thanks to everyone who supported the runners. I'll be entering again next year and can't wait to race again. Lack of water at certain points was a disappointment but one of the best feelings in the world was completing the race without stopping or walking.
