In short: Tough but rewarding race with some shock enroute
In full: This is a tough race, a dirty race but a great race. Pretty well organised as long as you read the instructions and came fully prepared ie no showers so you needed to bring a large bottle of water to wash up afterwards etc.
The route is very twisty, turny and you had to keep your eyes peeled for the markers and direction signs and I actully got lost along with 5 others after the 9 mile point. By the time I finished I had clocked up just over 11 miles in total. Lesson learnt - don't follow the pack!
I'll be back next year though, well worth it!

In short: Great, friendly, well organised race with PB potential.
In full: As someone who isn't actually a half M fan, I really liked this event for it's orgainisation, friendliness and the fast countryside route. The last 3 miles are slightly undulating but it definately has PB potential, I should know, I got one. The turnout was good and the race had a great 'local' feel to it with great support. See you next year.

In short: Great race in spectacular surroundings and 99% traffic free.
In full: A good 10k race with 3 hills, one cheaky one which you run twice. Not a PB race but you can certainly make up some time on the down hills. Good atmosphere in a fantastic venue too.

In short: Barking mad race for barking mad people
In full: You know you are in for one hell-of-a run within the first mile and it just gets better/worse after that. Don't do this if you are scared of heights or are agrophobic. A very good atmosphere and well worth the effort. Will be there for the next one.
