In short: Great event, frustrating race
In full: Too many stop starts in the first few miles, I can to a complete stop. Too many runners, always having to look out for the person suddenly stopping, cutting across in front, bottles every where. Done London before 2006 and loved it. This time, if I’m honest couldn’t wait to finish. Crowds are fantastic even round ‘Isle of dogs’, which I remembered from last time, was the tough part. Organization is great, but they do need to re think the park at the end. It’s not much fun being pushed and shoved by non runners when your legs have just totally seized. Next year, I’m back in my favorite spot cheering everyone on else on. Would I do it again, no.

In short: Fantastic, great race
In full: First ever cross country so had no idea what to expect. Must have stood out as first timers! We didn't mind, the marshal gave us some great advice. For me no chance of any PB but fully enjoyed the race from start to finish, even though I nearly backed out before starting when I saw the hills. Loved the signs on route! I’ll be adding this to my races to repeat next year.

In short: Great race, hill not as bad as I expected what a relief!
In full: Like it's been said before, start/finish needs some working on, better refreshment tent at the end and a bigger changing tent.

The race itself was terrific, marshalling was superb, and the course challenging and what great crowds Hastings have. Thank you...

In short: good first 10 miler race
In full: Today was my first ever 10mile run. Good weather no rain or wind. Every one was very friendly. Under estimated how hard the last 2 miles were. I'm proud to say we (TFF and Twiglet) maintained our usually 4 mile running pace all the way to the end.
