In short: new to trail - still do it In full: This year i had to pull out. The marshalls were amazing and i was taken back to HQ without any bother at all - thank you very much A fantastic well organised challenging event Date of review: June 29, 2014
In full: I am commenting on this run for the organising and marshalling following the dreadful rainy conditions. I realised after the run, the difficulties with electrics etc. the organisers were faced with and the fact they stil got the results out by the afternoon is fantastic. I know some runners are eager to see their times, so well done in such tough conditions for delivering. I would have been disappointed if the run had been cancelled so thank you for going ahead with it. This run is now established on the calendar it is a good course excellent marshalls, thank you and I know i will certainly book again Date of review: October 15, 2013
In short: Wow - I would love to do this again In full: A tough challenging run and because the field was small, a friendly personal feel. The weather was too hot which meant quite a few of us stayed at the end chatting and recovering. The event was very well organised and the marshalls were encouraging and friendly, thank you. I understand that last year the route, either owing to bad weather or some of the markers being taken, that runners got lost. This year the route was very well marked and i felt confident by half way to run without my map. I know there were still mixed feelings about the route but i guess if runners want a fast (although the route the first half was quick)without a little navigation, this run is not for you. If you want fun, quirky, tough (and boy the hill at mile 16 was hard - i struggled to walk it ) !!! this is the run for you. I loved it and thank you to Eddie Kidd who started the run. Oh and a super little trophy.
In short: A really well organised event . 200 runners which you cannot find now-a-days so certainly in danger of getting bigger (which it deserves). a challenging off road (which has to be done) i will do it again - nice price so plese do not change it !!! Date of review: September 8, 2010
