In short: Great race, but challenging!! In full: Second time for me, must have been mad to come back to THOSE HILLS! But it is magnificent, one of the best races of the year, very very well marshalled, and very well organised, and of course great cakes! Will be back again next year!! In short: Great race, with great support In full: Very scenic race through the north dorset countryside, very well organised. A big thank you to all the marshalls and volunteers, there seemed to be so many, and the fancy dress on the numerous water stations was a nice touch. Tricky one for a pb, as there are so many hills (some would say undulating) including the nasty one at the 11.5 mile mark, saying that, I still managed a pb, just. Nice T-shirt and cake at the finish as well. Will be back next year! Date of review: August 1, 2010

In short: Very challenging but beatiful scenery In full: This was the first time I had run the Swanage Half, but having driven the course the week before, I knew what to expect, hills, hills, and then some! Despite this, I still managed a pb. The race was very well organised, there were so many marshalls, all very encouraging and doing an excellent job, I never felt unsafe running on the roads. Start and finish along the seafront has to be one of the best. Date of review: July 18, 2010
