In short: Well organised with typical Cornish welcome
In full: Only did the 'short' 20m route, first time over this distance. Really testing weather conditions, gales with the sharpest hailstones I have ever felt. All credit to the organisers and especially the marshalls and water stations for their encouragement when they were enduring the same conditions as us.

In short: Well organised race, as flat a half marathon as you could find in Devon
In full: Ideal conditions, cold dry and sunny, with a very gentle undulating first 7 miles then a flat last 6 following the Tarka Trail.

In short: Well organised, encouraging marshalls, just enough inclines not to be dull
In full: Despite nearly freezing my bits off before the start, really enjoyed this race. Not a completely flat route, but you wont get much easier than this in the Plymouth area.Excellent organisation, decent medal and rapid results service makes this a good warmup race for halfs and fulls. Good encouragement from marshalls and the hardy supporters en route - and the chance to actually finish on a 'real' running track - first time I have done this since leaving school over 35 years ago!!!!

In short: Well organised race, nice route
In full: Well worth the 65 mile trip to do this race - thanks to Carn runners. Route that has just enough gentle undulations to be interesting. Marshalls very encouraging and the most enjoyable 10 miles I have run. (The only reason not to do this race is if you like decent mementos - not impressed with this years offering)

In short: One of the best value for money races
In full: Well organised, encouraging marshalls, superb scenery, great value tech t-shirt in goody bag. Only minor quibble - could possibly organise pre-race toilet facilites and actual start a little better, but

In short: Worth getting up early on a sunday morning for
In full: Lovely crisp sunny morning, perfect running conditions. Despite the two long hills halfway round it is probably one of the quicker half routes in Devon and Cornwall, with a scenic gradual descent over the last 5 miles. Mainly rural route, which meant not much in the way of public support but good encouragement from the marshalls and police but a couple of the road junctions could have been better controlled.

In short: Great organisation - couldnt praise it enough
In full: My first half - not the easiest of routes , but excellent organisation and great atmosphere made it have that 'big event' feel.
What better place than Plymouth hoe to start and finish - despite that last hill!

In short: Great varied terrain route with superb scenery
In full: Pleny of water stations on this route - well marshalled, but some of the pre/post race organisation - for example , the collection of numbers , was a bit of a shambles, otherwise a good challenging run - (well it was for me , being my first attempt at this distance). If the pre /post race organisation could be tightened up a bit then this would become a 'must do' race.
