In short: Hot and Hilly - then again it always is. Great organisation.
In full: Having done this for the past 3 years they always seem to pick the hot days for it. The "undulating" (hilly) nature of the course is always challenging and with the heat definitely makes you feel like you've achieved when you get round. Never got anywhere near a PB here and dont think I ever will (invariably 15 minutes slower) - but then again I do it for the personal challenge. Great organisation (much improved on last year) the Ice Lolly at the end is bliss.

In short: Great race in great setting, loved it.
In full: Half Marathon - got my first sub 2hr PB at this and felt fully supported doing it. Great support from the public - although the roads with the traffic on became a bit scary at times. I didnt find the hill or Greenway too bad - although the lack of cloud made it heat up a little too much on unshaded parts of the Greenway (nothing the organisers can do about this). Throroughly recommended and will be back next year.

In short: Tough with the external conditions but well organised
In full: Heat was a factor - Hills were DEFINITELY a factor but plenty of water stations and a slick start and finish procedure. The ice lolly at the end was heaven sent
