In short: 18 mile cross country with hills, mud and cows! In full: This is a fantastic race - one of the few long runs I truly enjoy doing. There is no chance of getting bored! The scenery and the terrain varies so much. The hills in the woods after 13-14 miles are tough when your legs start feeling tired but then again the scenery helps to get you going the last bit. Thank you Belper RR for a great race. Date of review: August 19, 2007

In short: very good race for pb potential In full: truly enjoyed the race as i knocked 8 mins off my pb on this half! it helped with the cooling showers tho! only one fairly steep uphill just before 10 mile and just before finish but then in return you have a lovely long downhill at 12 miles when you need it the most. many thanks to all the marshalls for standing in the rain!! In short: No hills at al so definitey a pb chance that way but most way is aong the coast and being in march there is usualy some wind that can knock off the pb. It is well organized and the marshalls did a good job. Date of review: March 7, 2006
