In short: lots of lovely mud, brutal hills, great humour and great local support
In full: Bagpiper, didgereedoo, fiddler, drummers & a surprising number of supporters handing out jelly babies. Thanks to all the cheery marshals encouraging us on. My second Grizzly and I'd forgotton about the deep aches that kick in in the latter stages as the body decides it's had enough, but, for some reason, we all keep smiling; simply a great atmosphere and wonderful scenery. Sadly no sticker for my collection this year but I'll be back. A good multinational turnout from Germany, Holland and even Wales!

In short: over the heath and back to a beautiful sandy beach - soothed my aching legs in the sea afterwards

In short: A great choice for my first race. Friendly and welcoming with cheering from villagers along the route.
In full: A mix of undulating road and farm tracks. making a figure 8 repeating the cross over 1.5k. Rain the day before made some of the downhills somewhat slippery but didn't see any whole body imprints! Jolly turnout (~100), including the men in pink. Locals turned out at their gates to cheer us on. As a beginner it was a great introduction.
