In short: This was an enjoyable race with frequent queues to aid rest and recovery.
In full: Always an enjoyable run, but I wondered whether the Slog had become a bit of a muddy gimmick. This year was fairly dry, but the mud and dung slinging/kicking competitors did their best to ensure an equitable distribution. I'm not convinced that the Christian remembrance ceremony at the start was wholly appropriate for a secular gathering.
