In short: Multi-loop fun in the May sun
In full: A two and a half loop (!) race, with supberb marshals that were always full of encouragement. Some of the turns on the course are a bit tight, and there are a couple of choke points, but if you run this race for fun rather than a PB, then you will really enjoy it

In short: Well organised and pretty scenary
In full: A special mention has to go the the Christ's Hospital band - I don't think I have every had such a large band play as I ran before, not even in big city marathons - many thanks

In short: A Santa suit, mince pies and hot chocolate - could you ask for anything more?
In full: Raising money for a very good cause leaves you with a warm feeling within, as does the post-run hot chocolate. Very well organised, great atmosphere and will make you smile!!

In short: Great marshalls and a good course
In full: Fourth time I have run this race; route is nice and the profile is such that a PB is on offer. Marshalls are plentiful and welcoming, even in some rather grim drizzle

In short: Good race (bar the heat)...but the finish needs work
In full: Third marathon, with all PB potential spoilt by the weather. You can't blame the organisers for that and I thought that the water stations, showers etc were good along the way. Support along the route was very good around the start/finish, but petered out in middle. I actually enjoyed the out-and-back scenary, so I guess it is personal taste
PLEASE...bigger mile marker signs and much better signage at the end; when you are tired, you can't always see the signs 200m away!
