In short: Fabulous once again and even better getting a dry wick T shirt at the end
In full: Think this was my 5th or 6th Worksop and I love it though the first hill seemed far steeper than ever before. Could have done with some sweets or the gel that was in my goodie bag at about mile 9, but all in all a great race. thanks

In short: My 5th Run and it gets better each year
In full: I thoroughly recommend Ashby 20 as a great tester for the London Marathon and the organisers have done yet another cracking job. After doing the run in 2009 and getting my fab blue hoodie which you see people proudly wearing at all league events, its great to get a new one this year! Coming back from an injury today, I found it hard at times, so delighted to have knocked 5 mins off my PB. As ever, very well organised, marshalls working very hard and so supportive. A real credit to you all. Well Done.

In short: Fabulous
In full: This was the 4th time I have completed Ashby in as many years and I throughly enjoyed it again. The weather, the marshalls, the organisation and the finish were excellent. I was slightly disappointed not to receive a hoody this year - I've worn 2009's out I loved it that much - would be prepared to pay extra next year if it meant a hoody on completion. But otherwise, I would highly recommend and will be back next year. Well done Ivanhoe.

In short: Fantastic
In full: Huge congratulations to Ivanhoe Runners who have fine tuned their efforts to deliver this excellent race. This is my 3rd time of completing Ashby and slightly biased as this year knocked 31 minutes of 2008's time, so am delighted. Organisation is faultless, best bag and sandwich ever and I love the hoodie. Well done. Would highly recommend to anyone in FLM training.

In short: Excellent Half Marathon
In full: First time I had done this course and had been warned about the dreaded hills. However, I still managed to do a PB by 10 minutes so my efforts have paid dividends. Overall the organisation and the marshalls were fantastic but I would suggest a review of the t shirt distribution at the end which was frustrating.

In short: Excellent and well organised
In full: My 3rd attempt at Sleaford and a pb for the course for me. Last year the sweets were at 9 miles so was hoping for them whereas this year they were just before 12. Thank you for them. Love the off road bit for variety., Would definately recommend.

In short: Brilliant
In full: 2nd time I have done this race though doing London on Sunday so took it very steady. Scenery is amazing and weather held out for us. A reminder of how important hills are in training! Definately worth the effort and drive.

In short: Brilliant
In full: Excellent organisation, Ivanhoe Runners did themselves proud. Special mention to the marshalls, especially the 2 ladies who gave me much encouragement on my last 1 and 'a bit' mile. Massage a the end was well worth the wait. Did it 4 mins quicker than last year and felt there were more slower runners in the field this year (like me) which I benefited from as last year there were stetches when I was completely on my own. Overall a fantastic race with brilliant organisation and a great endurance tester for the FLM. HIghly recommend

In short: Overall a reasonable half
In full: This was my first time at Sleaford and I thought in general it went well.Route wise, I thought it was fine and enjoyed the off road section especially.
I thought the main area for improvement was the finish. The atmosphere was flat; people were walking back to their cars in the way of runners still trying to finish which was very irritating after running 13 miles(perhaps a coned/stripped area next year too keep people out of the way). I think the finish could have benefited from some music to liven things up a little. Goodie bag was good though as was free drink

In short: Excellent except one major criticism
In full: My 3rd half marathon this year (and ever) and although I knew i could do it in the 2 1/2 hour time limit, there was one point when a number of runners had dropped out and I was at the back with the sweeper car right behind me. Please try to keep your distance, it was very intimidating and made me wonder if the slower runners really were welcome or if you were pushing us to give up. Did this contribute to the people that did opt for the mini bus home?
