In short: Manky weather but a fast, interesting course
In full: As we all decided to leave the car park at once it was a bit slow going. Fair play to the marshall who thought to turn the entrance into an exit.

In short: Steps, mud, hills, rain ... and sleet!
In full: Really good fun! Great atmosphere. Huge thanks to the marshalls who were standing in the cold and wet just to pick us up out of the mud. Really great race.

In short: Loved the horse brass
In full: A great race - really well-organised. The sound of the bells as you took on those last couple of miles is a fantastic touch.

In short: Ho ho ho!
In full: I thought it was fantastic. The sight of thousands of santas has got to make it the best race of the year! Who cares whether you could see the where the finish line was or hear the speeches?! A huge thank you to the organisers and the marshalls.

In short: My first half marathon - loved it ... but it hurt!
In full: The organisation was really good - friendly stewards and everything seemed to happen when and where it should.

Loved the announcer at the end and the people who were handing out the medals were great even though they must already have shaken hands with a 1000 tired and sweaty people before I bowled up.

My only gripe would be the very many men who felt the need to stand against hedges and pee - from less than a mile into the race. It doesn't really seem fair to the people who live in the area - nor to us women who have to keep our legs crossed!
