In short: Great for the scenery and for challenging yourself on the hills.
In full: This is the second time I've done this race, and will sign up for it again next year. I love the reward of the great scenery at the top of the hills.

In short: Tough hills, but very, very worth it!
In full: Who cares about PBs anyway? What with the narrow footpaths, hills, and waiting 5 minutes to get over the stile, I added 15 minutes to my normal half marathon time, but everyone was cheery and the scenery was lovely, so it didn't matter. Well organised, except for the wait at the end for medals or tee shirts/bags which seemed a bit unnecessary - perhaps it would speed things up next year if there wasn't a pre-selected choice, but a medal or tee was given out in a goody-bag at the finish? Loved the party atmosphere at the end, thanks to the young band! Would definately do it next year (maybe even the full marathon as I did the half this year for the first time.)

In short: What a little gem! Will be back next year for sure!
In full: I live in the neighbouring county and didn't know this pretty place existed - it's a well-kept Warwickshire secret. The race was friendly and well organised, and the challenging hills made you feel like you'd earned the scenery at the top. My entry this year was last-minute, but I will be one of the first to enter next time, because when the word spreads about this one, it'll get full quickly! Thanks a billion to all the marshalls and the race secretary, who made everything so enjoyable for us all.
