In short: Only did the Friday and Saturday but great fun in the mud. In full: Please keep up the good work for next year, it would be a real shame to loose this great race of the racing calendar. Date of review: June 26, 2007
In short: Nice end of year race. In full: Marshalls were very good but would ahve preffered 3 water stations as i got a bit hot in my winter running gear (short's with long sleeeve top and vest on top), hall was warm for start and finish but no secure baggage area but that seemed to be ok as the shop area was right next door! will do again and thanks again to the marshalls! In short: My first Sandy 10, and i will be back next year In full: Marshalls all very good, especially the ones who were in charge of roads. Water staions well manned and spaced about right. Nice tee shirt at end with drink and fusli bar.
My only gripe was waiting for the tee etc at the end but it was only 5 mins. Date of review: March 26, 2006
In short: 400 runners and chip timing! In full: Drink stations were good with a choice of lucozade and water. Start was very busy and could have benefitted from expected pace start gates. Most marshalls were good, although in one or two places there were none. The finish is the most problematic with long waits for a medal and a drink in the cold. If race had chip timing it would sort a lot of the problems out. But still i had a good fast race and will be back next year. Date of review: March 12, 2006
In short: Dont Mention the hills! Did i mention the hills? In full: Superbly run race from the Marshalls etc (not from me) from drinks stations to bag retrival. Hill at 9 miles my lung's burst the hill at 11 miles my head went knumb with the wind and my leg's fell off at the 18 mile hill! LOL , but i will be back next year! Date of review: February 27, 2006
In short: Scenic and nice flat route. In full: 2 Water stations over the 10k and one at finish. Could have been more toilets, friendly and a good atmosphere, see you next year! Date of review: September 25, 2005
