In short: Good challenging course
In full: Good race in aid of a great charitable cause. Challenging course but a bit too much tarmac for my liking. Marshals were fantastic, good organisation, minor negatives were lack of toilets and congested start! Big thank you to the guy who helped push my car out of the muddy field.

In short: Great location and a well organised race
In full: The course was well marked, in a great location and with some challenging undulations. Apart from the minor problem with exit signage (yes I missed that left turn too) the organisation was great. Definitely one to do again next year.

In short: Brilliantly organised and marshalled race with a lovely scenic route
In full: Brilliantly organised race with a very friendly atmosphere. The lovely scenic route with its long gentle undulations and an out and back course meant passing all the other runners which added to the atmosphere. A special mention for the marshals, they were all brilliant - friendly and encouraging, a bit thank you to all of them.

In short: Great course, good organisation, fantastic marshals
In full: Very well organised event with a scenic and challenging course with plenty of water available. Marshals were absolutely fantastic with their help, support and encouragement. Only negative was the congestion near the start but as its not a course for setting fast times that's not really an issue. Will definitely be back next year.

In short: Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, brilliant organisation, totally awesome race
In full: There aren't enough superlatives to describe this whole event. My thanks go out to Dr Rob and his team for organising such a fantastic race, to all the marshals for a wonderful job well done and to all my fellow runners for their encouragement around the course. It may be the hardest and most exhausting race I've ever done but the feeling of elation at having done it is the best ever. Add on top of all that supporting a worthy cause, the great polo top, the medal, the certificate, the CD, the bag, the food (I wish I'd been physically capable of eating more than a few bites) and it all adds up to one of the best races ever.

In short: Hard race but great occasion
In full: Nightmare race but great occasion. Far too hot for me and hated the stony ground but loved the atmosphere, very friendly runners and marshals and a big thumbs up to the organisers for the extra water stop and having plenty of drinks available.
