In short: Keeps getting better - Everyone should do this at least once! In full: Despite my lack of preperation, which resulted my second slowest time ever, and the pain in my knees down the last mile - this was still a fantastic day for runners and spectators alike. Although I was amongst the "Staggering Stragglers" towards the back of the field, the support out on the course was still massive. This was my first big event 5 years ago and I've been hooked ever since - atmosphere amongst the runners and support from the crowd is second to none. Only slight niggle is that Nike were clearly lying at 5 miles (everyone on the course will know what I mean). Well done to the bloke in front of me on the way down to the start (RNLI vest), who was setting off on crutches - hope it went well! Date of review: October 8, 2008
