In short: organisers made a mistake took a wrong route as there were no marshalls at 12 miles In full: Just started running, had mentioned to organisers that my time would be 2.30. Was well within that time, when just before 12 miles turned into a road which was the wrong route, there were no marshalls there. Realised my mistake 1/2 mile later also met a marshall there on his bike, ended up doing 14 miles and taking a bit longer. It could have been disastrous if I had continued and got lost in the countryside. Date of review: October 8, 2007
